Esser printSolutions GmbH was honoured with the GC Management Award for its strategic achievements and characterised as a 'game changer'. Whatever game is meant, Esser has definitely changed the digital printing landscape in Germany.
It goes without saying that the company's success lies not only in its strategy. And not everything can be planned to fit. But after years of hard work, Diana Esser and her husband Markus have done exactly the right thing at exactly the right time over the past three years. You have to achieve that first. The first decisive step was the merger with Walter Digital in Korntal in February 2019, which was later merged into the parent company in Bretten.
And another milestone followed just over a year later in October 2020 with the takeover of the insolvent Bosch Druck Solutions GmbH in Ergolding. It is therefore fair to say that the company, which was founded in Bretten, Baden-Württemberg (not far from Karlsruhe) in 1905, has experienced explosive growth. After all, Diana and Markus Esser took over a small business with 15 employees in 2001 - the fourth generation to do so. "We have grown considerably since then," says Diana Esser modestly.
