Focus on digital printing since 2001.
In 2001, we gradually started digital printing and ran it in parallel with offset printing. At some point, the proportion of customers for digital printing was higher than for offset printing. The trend was clearly towards more individualised and smaller print runs.
With the technology of high-performance inkjet printing, it was then also possible to print long runs. This paved the way from a pure print service provider to a fulfilment service provider that can also offer complete logistics concepts thanks to the direct connection to the customer system.
