And what the individual doesn't realise is how much work goes into and behind such a project. But it was worth it, the "lighthouse project" in the printing market. A magazine in high-speed inkjet web offset with 76 pages, end-to-end personalisation and a print run of 15,000 copies not only requires courage, but also the right partners with the right team and the right technology:
Axel J. Mangelsdorf from Crown Van Gelder as sponsor of the paper. Jörg Hunsche with the HP team as system supplier and supporter of the HP PageWide Web Press T250HD roll-to-roll inkjet press. Thomas Schnettler and the locr team as data and map specialists for the preparation of personalised data and geo-personalisation. Rudiger Maaß as the source of ideas.
And last but not least, we, the ESSER Group, as the print shop responsible for the entire data handling, pre-press, printing of the cover and content pages, the subsequent adhesive binding with barcode matching of content and cover, and the lettershop. We would like to thank everyone involved for the great collaboration and are proud to have produced the fully personalised Druckmarkt issue!
A mega project! THANK YOU Klaus-Peter Nicolay!
